One of the few days dogs (not designated as service animals) are allowed on the grounds of The Morton Arboretum — and unusually, a full Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to sunset, so the 16 miles of trails are open to dogs all day. The separately ticketed Howl-o-ween costume event runs the same morning from 9:00 a.m. to noon; this listing is the wider dog-admission window around it, including the afternoon. Dogs must be leashed, attended at all times, and stay on marked trails; some areas of the Arboretum are off limits to dogs.
