Bring out your dog's inner performer at Intro to Dog Dancing, a 3-week beginner-friendly group class hosted by Venus & Mars K9 at Light Paws in Logan Square. Led by certified professional trainer Coralyn "Cori" Pedota, this class introduces canine freestyle — the playful sport that pairs trick training with music for a creative bonding experience between you and your pup. Over three weekly sessions, you'll learn foundation freestyle moves (spins, weaves, leg work, paw targeting), how to chain behaviors to music, and how to use reward-based training to keep your dog confident and engaged. The class is welcoming to dogs of all sizes and skill levels — no prior trick training required, just a dog who enjoys learning and a handler ready to have fun.
