BarkPalooza is the dog half of Wicker Park's annual BooPalooza, Saturday, October 17 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Wicker Park, 1425 N Damen Ave. Bring your dog for the dog costume parade and costume contest, plus vendor activities: pup games and contests, pup lattes, training demos, an obstacle course and an insta-"pup-up" photo booth. BooPalooza runs alongside with live music, an all-ages costume parade, pumpkin decorating and face painting. Free; a $10 per family donation is suggested. Organized by the Wicker Park Advisory Council with the Chicago Park District and 50+ local businesses — draws 3,000–4,000 people each year.
