Free 1-year Rabies, Distemper, and FVRCP vaccines plus free microchips for the first 500 cats and dogs in attendance. Presented by Cook County Animal and Rabies Control and The Chicago Wolves, with support from the Chicago Fire Dept., Hyde Park Animal Hospital, Animal & Rabies Control, and Chicago Police Dept. Ticket distribution begins at 10:30 AM. Bring proof of Cook County residency (State ID, CityKey, etc.). Pets can receive a microchip regardless of whether a vaccine is given. Dogs must be leashed (no retractables) or in carriers; cats must be in carriers. Be prepared for a long wait, and bring water, chairs, and waste bags.
